I am using ie9

version: 9.0.8112.16421
update versions: RTM (KB982861)
Cipher strength: 256 bit

i don't actually know how to tell if i am using 32bit or 64bit ie

Now to the problem:

Today i received a flash update and installed it. Afterwards I closed my system down and re-booted.

Since this update I am now getting flash/movie adverts that are on the page in the wrong place,  squashed into the left hand area (this never happened before).....and they overlay some of the text on the page. I have also run chrome and everything is working fine (and also comparatively which is how i know  what has happened in ie9). Its driving me crazy...the visual distortion is mind bending, can anyone help?

thanks

Robin

I had the exact same problem. They have 2 solutions buried in their web site.

    1. Try and update your Graphics Driver. I have Intel and there was an update and it did fix my problem.

    2. Disable your Graphics Acclerator.

    Hope this helps.
