Trying to download Flash

Having just installed Window8, I can no longer see some videos. Was told to download Flash. Tried to but nothing happend! Any ideas?? Guess I must need to change some settings.

use your browser to go here:  http://www.adobe.com/products/about-flash.html

does it show you have flash installed?  if not, manually download and install from here:  http://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads.html

Hi,Thanks for the comments. Flash v 11.3 is installed and apparently operating but still will not let me see videos!! Brian
