Trying to install Adobe flash player on my MacBook Pro OS X 10.6 have been unsuccessful? HELP

I have been trying to install Adobe flash player on my MacBook Pro OS X 10.6 have been unsuccessful? I even tried uninstalling and installing over and over again with no luck, including the previous versions, what am I doing wrong, is there something I can do to make it work, HELP PLEASE

please be a bit more specific... what type of error are you receiving, if any? is your issue with the installer itself (eg doesn't complete doesn't run) or flash content does not display after what seems to be a sucessful install?
