Trying to update Flash but it doesn't work!

I'm trying to update to the newest version of Flash player on my mac OS X 10.7.5 with Safari 6.1.6. In the download folder there is a file named ''AdobeFlashPlayerInstaller_15au_ltrosxd_aaa_aih.dmg.mdlp''. When I double-click on it, MATLAB starts running. In the instructions it says the file should by named something like "AdobeFlashPlayerInstaller[xxx].dmg”.

Can someone please help me? How can I open the AdobeFlashPlayerInstaller?

I managed to fix it by just renaming the downloaded file ''AdobeFlashPlayerInstaller_15au_ltrosxd_aaa_aih.dmg.mdlp'' to  ''AdobeFlashPlayerInstaller_15au_ltrosxd_aaa_aih.dmg''. Thank you anyway!

Try following these instructions exactly. I had the same issue as you, but this worked.
