Two Flash Players Opening!!

I have been using Flash Player with Firefox but, lately, my pc has been running very slowly.   When I checked within Task Manager, I noticed that TWO Flash Players were opening and one of those was hugely impeding my CPU usage.   I have had to disallow Flash Player from opening within Firefox to alleviate the problem but that obviously attracts further problems.   Please help me to overcome this problem.

Immense thanks in advance for any assistance that you can provide.

Kev

This is normal behavior for 32-bit Firefox on Windows.  See this article for the technical details: Inside Flash Player Protected Mode for Firefox

If you're on a 64-bit version of Windows, you should upgrade to 64-bit Firefox.

You'll get a much better experience from Flash and Firefox in terms of stability, performance and security.

    Thank you for your reply,

The situation regarding CPU Usage remains as it was before.   (This post has taken over twenty minutes to produce)!!!

Your screenshot shows 32-bit Firefox running.

Choose the installer from the 64-bit windows row.  It has "64" in the icon.
