tying to update flash player. It won't take my password, but home page does. Please help

I have a listed Flash player 17.0.0 Safari Macintosh (OSX)

When I went to download the newest version everything was fine until a pop up window asked for my password and stated that "Adobe wants to make changes type password to allow this."

When I typed it in the window just wiggled. I tried changing my password but it still did the same thing.

I am dyslexic and not very computer savvy so please help.

Hi,

This is the OS prompting for the password, not Flash Player.  Please see the FAQ What userid & password do I need to install Flash Player? for assistance.
