Question

Unable to enable hardware acceleration

Using Windows 10 platform

Browser: Firefox v. 52.0.2 (32-bit)

Adobe flash player version 25.0.0.127

To test if all the crashes I was having playing a game (farmville 2) on zyngagames.com. I disable the hardware accelerator (which I have done before) to see if my video card was causing the problem.  After testing I attempted to reenable the hardware acceleration feature in flashplayer.  There is a checkmark in the box but the feature is not activated.  I don't know what else to try as I uninstalled and reinstalled flash player and that didn't fix it.  Anyone have a suggestion. Thank you.

How did you determine that hardware acceleration was still disabled?

Does the problem persist after power cycling the machine?  It would eliminate a number of possibilities that I'm thinking about.

Choppy screen and a message from firefox. I finally remembered that I could go to a different game and right click and check. And yes it was disabled. I have enabled it and the game is working somewhat better.

Cool.  Moving to 64-bit Firefox should get you another bump in overall Flash Player performance.
