Unable to exclude optional products

This is more feedback than a question. I recently got notified of a flash update, when I downloaded it some McAfee software came too. I am on a metered connection and I didn't want the extra software, not only was there no option to prevent the additional download, wasting my data allowance, I didn't get to choose whether or not to install it either, so had to uninstall after.

I have no choice but to use your flash software as sites I use regularly require it, with this experience If I could do without it I would do.
