I cant watch any videos and some contents of web pages wont load. I need to install the latest version of Flash Player. However when I go to the install link shown it wont install the program. I checked my browser settings and they have the correct enable or prompt settings as recommended. The computer will not install the program. Please any help will be highly appreciated.

I am still having the problem and in the event that I was getting things around my neck (it happens sometimes), I went back to the drawing board by uninstalling Flash Player with Adobe's Uninstaller tool. All is well with downloading and re-installing Flash Player 10......36 and "Active X". The problem starts when you try to access Adobe's posted "Debug" version of the program, which does not open. They are all posted on the Adobe site with clear instructions, but what is the point if you cannot open them. More importantly, resources such as Adobe TV and other provisions of a similar framework or platform cannot be accessed. This adds up to more frustration..........and there is no evidence that Adobe cares a jot......or they would do something about it like fix the problem or say why they can't !!!

Actually the program is installed. when I checked add-remove program section the flash plyer and active X are there. It just wont load pages and play videos. I had to go to Real Player and make that my default andnowmy web pages load and i am viewing videos. I really would like the flash player to work. No help as yet.

me too,,,,i eventually called Geeksquad after exhausting all the Adobe help - in the end the geeksquad said the popup install process seem to screw up, than reinstalled an older version of adobe reader (8.1.2) AND FLASH PLAYER 9. This worked. Unfortunately the stupid pop up install unpadte came up again and my kid hit the install button, now I am back to square one. So I thought I could uninstall current products and download the same versions the Geeks did - unfortunately, trying all Adobe help, I cannot find a copy of flash version 9 - only 10 is on the download site......after reinstalling reader 8.1.3 (can't find 8.1.2 either) I tried installing flash 10 - after all of this I still have the same problems and cannot read anything requiring flash or active X......

nice job Adobe!!!! it would be useful if they provided a valid uninstall/reinstall for all the reader products - I am running XP.......I give up except for you guys - you would think all the advertisers using this to run adds would not like the fact that most users won't be able to see the ads anymore......................

I can't install Flash either. I've downloaded it 7 thousand times, but the screen says select "run", but there's no "run" button. Am using Firefox. From the look of the forum posts, quite a few people are having Flash problems.

I am having exactly the same problem with one exception. The latest version of Flash Player 10 is actually installed; but each time I try to run a flash movie it tells me that I need Flash Player. It will not download because it is already ther (with flash screen to confirm the inatallation)............I thought it was just me!!!!
