Unable to install flash player on Mac O/S Mojave

I have a mac book pro running Mojave 10.14, Safari version 12.0.

I have used the installer and the install fails. I have run the un-installer from the Adobe support website and tried to perform a clean install by downloading flash player installer version 31.0.0.122. Th installation continues to fail at around 20% there are no error messages, just the failure statement. Any ideas?

What does 'install fails' mean?

Th installation continues to fail at around 20% there are no error messages, just the failure statement.

Please provide a screenshot of the failure statement

To troubleshoot further, we'll need to review the installation log files.  Please read through Where do I find the Flash Player installation log on the Macintosh?  and configure your system to obtain the install.log and FlashPlayerInstallManager.log files.  If you're using the online/shim installer also provide the Adobe_ADM.log and Adobe_GDE.log file.  Repeat the installation attempt until it fails/hangs.  Close the installer dialog window and then gather the log files and upload them to cloud.acrobat.com/send using the instructions at How to share a file using Adobe Document Cloud

The install.log file is a catch-all file that records lots of information.  We only need the information pertinent to the Flash Player installation attempt.

Thank you.
