Unable to install flashplayer22

Question

Hello everybody.I'm french so excuse me for my mistakes.I'm a Windows XP user, and I'm trying to install the latext version of adobe flashplayer.I downloaded the file "flashplayer22_ha_install.exe". But when I double-click on it, nothing happens ! I tried again a dozen times...The issue is very simple, but I've no idea how to solve it!If anyone has a solution to give me, I would be very grateful.Thank you and good afternoon.Emmanuel

Hi,Which XP Service Pack are you using? If it is not XP Service Pack 3, then there is no support for sha256 digital signatures, which the installer uses. You can try installing a previous version, available on the Archived Adobe Flash Player versions​ page and opt for Background Updates.You could even update your computer to a supported version​​ (minimum is XP SP3).Thanks!

Hello and thanks for your answer.I finally found the soution by myself : I went into the properties of the installation file and found out there was a security lock on the file. It says something like "This file comes from another computer and might be blocked to protect your computer". So I click on Unlock, and the file became possible to open!Good afternoon everybody.
