Unable to Play Video on Comcast Website

I have the same problem.  It was fine then stopped working and does not matter what browser I use...tried chrome and firefox and it says that the flash is not updated.  I spent hours on the phone with Comcast and they say its my computer that's the problem.  My sons computer works fine (same home).  I can stream Netflix and all other videos just no Comcast.  Any help appreciated.

I've branched this out to a new thread in order to give you personalized advice.

First things first, I need some details so that I can give you some relevant feedback:

Also, do you have any ad-blockers, anti-tracking plugins or anti-javascript plugins installed?  How about third party security software or software firewalls?

Thanks for the reply.  I already added a last reply to the original thread with a solution that worked for me.

Two notes .. my fix worked with Chrome .. but not with Edge or Firefox.  However I really didn't delve into those other browser settings .  I've been using Chrome for years so perhaps someone more familiar with those other browsers can find where to look.

In short there are two areas in Chrome where there are options to "Block" Flash player from running on specific web sites.  Also a 2nd area where you also have an option to selectively block specific third party cookies.

Both those areas had 4 files that were set to be "blocked".   I know for a fact that they were never blocked in the past.  But something modified those two areas ... I suspect it was either the comcast software update they did a few weeks ago, or a Windows update which happened around that time.    I'm now more inclined to think it was a Windows 10 security update.  What ever it was it affected all my browsers.   If I find another hidden cookie or Flash player settings option in Edge or Firefox I'll update you here.
