  • Your operating system & version

windows 10

  • Your web browser(s) & version

mozilla firefox 41.02.2

  • Your Flash Player version

19,0,0,245

  • Explain your problem in step-by-step detail if possible

everytime i watch a live streaming site no matter the browser (i tried chrome) or the website, it freezes after a maximum of 30s. i need to refresh the page manually to catch up thus missing parts of the live stream every time. Occasionaly it unfreezes by itself after 1-2min but i miss the continuity of the stream.

  • A direct link to a page that demonstrates the problem

not sure i can get one ... any live stream. no error message just the video and audio stops till i refresh the page

hi there,

I think I figured it out. The reason why it's constantly interrupting is that I'm using a vpn to access websites. Living where I am I dont have any other options but to use a vpn to access websited with video ... I guess the live streams get interupted when the packages are sent from one server to the other. I dont have this problem for normal streaming videos on websites or downloads as there's probably a definate begining and end to the file. An example website that poses problem is reuters.com

The most expedient way for us to figure out what is going on is to look at the thing you're looking at.  We know that our webcam tests work, so a specific link where you see the problem would be really useful.  I just want to narrow it down to a specific service so that we're not spinning our wheels searching the entire web for your problem because we don't have basic details.

Thanks!
