Unsuccessful attempts to complete installation of Flash Player on iMac OS X 10.11.2

Question

I need help with installing Flash Player on an iMac with OS X 10.11.2 and Safari 9.0.2. After many unsuccessful attempts I have removed all Adobe Flash Player software to the Trash and emptied the Trash. I am still unsuccessful. Previously, when I still had the software I verified that under System Preferences / Flash Player / Security, sharing was allowed. Installation requires my password, and that has worked as expected. Any suggestions?

Hi,Moving Flash Player files to the trash and emptying the trash is not the proper way to uninstall Flash Player. Please review the FAQ How to perform a "clean install" of Flash Player in Mac OS X and follow the steps to uninstall Flash Player and then reinstall it.Thank you.--Maria
