Unusual Flash Player Activity

Question

Why does Adobe Flash Player send me notifications several times per day after the latest version for Mac has already been downloaded? How do I make this stop?Many thanks,DR RJM

Looks like you opted for "Notify me to install updates", which means you will be notified once a new update is available. Once the update is downloaded, you have to install that update also, double click the downloaded file to install the update.

Alternatively you can opt to automatically install updates by following the instructions Check for Flash Player software updates automatically
