Update failed, uninstalled, Install Failed, Disk Util Repair, Reinstall, Sill Failed

Question

I've read some of the other update failures and want you to know I have tried multiple times to update, then uninstalled, then tried the install multiple times. Every time it has failed. OSX Yosemite 10.10.3. I went ahead and did a Disk Repair using the OSX Disk Utility and some minor problems were corrected. I went ahead and captured the 2 log files with the errors and am placing them below. Can you tell me what is up and how to fix this? It seems there is problem opening or accessing a Help File.

Hi joecuv,The error is being returned by Apple's Installer app which OS X uses to extract and install files from .pkg packages. I'm not too familiar with the inner workings of the Installer app and after some searching found a user on the Apple Discussion site with a similar error when attempting to install iTunes. That user was successful at installing iTunes after booting into Safe Mode. When booting into safe mode Apple prevents some start-up items and other third party software from loading and performs a check of the start up disk. This may enable the installer utility to extract and install the software successfully, as such, I would recommend trying this approach. It may or may not work.Please read through the entire instructions and/or print them before proceeding. Download and save the offline installer posted at the bottom of the Installation problems | Flash Player | Mac page in the 'Still having problems' section.Disconnect any wired peripherals that are not essential to the basic operation of your computer.Restart your computer in safe mode, see OS X Yosemite: Start up in safe mode‌, and log into the user account with the problem.Booting into safe mode will take longer than normal and some things will not look/operate the same once logged in (e.g. graphics may look different, wireless/networking may not work, etc).Proceed to install Flash Player using the offline installer downloaded in the step one.If Flash Player installs when booted into safe mode restart as normal (into the same account used in step 3) and ensure it is working in normal mode.After logging in launch the browser and navigate to the help page in step 1.Click the 'Check Now' button. The widget will display what version of Flash Player is installed.If it does work, you'll want to identify what start-up program or third-party software is interfering with the Installer utility so that you can successfully install other programs in the future.If you get the same, or different, error from the Installer app when attempting to install in safe mode I recommend contacting Apple for assistance as the error is coming from their utility app.Please post back here if this did, or did not, work for you.Thank you.--Maria
