I recently updated firefox and adobe flash and also shockwave player. My computer worked fine and played videos and streamed videos with ease. But after one of the updates I can play a single video smoothly or even play a short video. It is so slow and just freezes up to the point where i have to kill down firefox for my computer to unfreeze. The pc works fine in all other aspects , Microsoft office programs work great, any other program works great its just going on the internet and if i go on websites that have flash files or embedded videos like espn.com it just freezes up. Then when i try to play youtube video or a video from a movie/tv show site its unbearably slow. I also tried using microsoft internet explorer, same result, as well as google chrome, yet chrome does load some websites better like the sports website i mentioned earlier. I uninstalled firefox, adobe flash and restarted and reinstalled them all again with latest versions, i usually am an update nut and always keep my programs updated but I dont know what it is that i cant play videos anymore. I have 8GB ram, which it came with 4GB and i purchased an additional 4GB to see if that worked but nope. I mean it looks like my mouse moves quicker but thats about it. I tried defragging my pc and didnt help video issue. I searched around the forums and tried other stuff just can someone try to throw some advice my way or help. I greatly appreciate the knowledge, advice, and help that you all here give. Thanks in advance.
