Updated now nothing works

Any ideas on this?  I installed the update to 10 as suggested on my screen message.  Ever since then nothing requiring Flashplayer seems to work.  Any ideas why this new update would cause that or how I can fix it?

    Isn't there just a way to install the older version that was working?  Then when the new one is fixed install it?  Right now when I find what I think is an older version it installs 10.1

    It is usually better to get the newest version to work, rather than installing an old version.

    However, that is up to you.  You can download archived FP versions from http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/142/tn_14266.html; make sure you uninstall any newer versions completely before attempting to install an old version.
