updating Flash Player on Edge

Hi,

The current version of Flash Player on Microsoft 10/Edge (which tells me that it's up to date) is 21.0.0.118. Adobe has just released an emergency patch of Flash Player (21.0.0.213) to prevent an exploit it says is in the wild. Is the version that's currently installed on Edge vulnerable to this exploit, and if so, is there a way to update it to the latest, patched version?

Hi,

As of Windows 8, Microsoft embeds Flash Player in Internet Explorer and Edge browser in Windows 10. Due to this all updates are released by Microsoft via Windows Update. We have no control as to when Microsoft releases the Flash Player updates and their release schedule may differ from ours.  If you have run Windows Update and an update is not available it's because Microsoft has not released the update yet.  Tomorrow is Microsoft's Patch Tuesday, as such, it's likely that Microsoft will release the update tomorrow.
