video game content not displaying - windows 7 w/IE

I have windows 7 and I cannot get adobe to work.  I have installed it 5 times, but I cannot find any adobe file in my downloads or elsewhere after the installer finishes.  The installer appears in the downloads while it is downloading, but then it deletes itself upon completion.  When I check my current version on Adobe it says that I have the latest Flash Player installed.   But my video game has a white screen and when I right click it, it says: movie not loaded...

         Check for updates...

          About Adobe Flash Player 28.0.0.161...

I have managed add-ons.  It is enabled.  Please advise.  I cannot figure out the issue.

    Also, are you trying to load this game from the Internet, or your local filesystem?

    Yeah, it looks like you have Flash Player installed and working.

    Can you give us a link to the game?

    The online/shim installer file deletes itself after installation completes - this is expected behaviour.


    Based on the screenshot, Flash Player ActiveX for IE is installed successfully.
