I recently updated flash player on my mackbook pro to 10.1 and every time I enlarge a video in a browser it lags. It doesn't matter whether or not it's firefox or safari, the videos lag when they are enlarged and they don't when in their normal window. I have uninstalled flash player multiple times and the problems still exists.

Here are all the archived flash players. Download the Flash Player 10 folder. I used the flash player 10 r42 and it works fine.

I have the 17" i7 MacBook Pro and the same problem. It seems to be related to running with the Intel HD graphics on my machine, and runs smoothly if you turn off "Automatic graphics switching" in the Energy Saver System Preferences - does that work for you?

I have the 15 inch macbook pro core i7 and it seems to work if I turn off the automatic graphics switching. So how exactly do you have video run correctly without always having the geforce card on? I tried other macbook pros with core i7s and they seemed to work fine. Is it a hardware thing or what?

As far as I can see I don't think video can run correctly without having the nvidia card on. Maybe on those other machines it was already switched on by another app or that auto switch preference was already turned off? If you find out anything more I would be very interested!
