volume always 'saves' at 100% in firefox

I guess there is still no fix for this?  Tried disabling protection mode and still won't save at lower volume.

Running windows 7, was running latest version of flash, firefox 19.

Downgraded to 10.3 and keep getting these please update messages.  So can't seem to win either way.

The most recent thread I can find is from 6 months ago.  Wondering if there are any developments since then?
