Website Storage Settings panel not available in some browsers
Can't use the Storage Settings panel with the following browsers -
1) Opera - It was available until 2/3 weeks ago - from what I remember there was a minor Windows 10 update around this time. Now all I get is a message saying this content requires Flash along with the button for downloading it. I've tried reinstalling it but it makes no difference.
2) Microsoft Edge - The Storage Settings Panel was available until about 3 days ago when I had a major Windows 10 update. Now I'm getting the same problem as with Opera.
Chrome and Internet Explorer aren't affected - I can still use the Storage Settings panel with these browsers.
I found instructions for clearing the Flash caches in all browsers using the Control Panel. Flash (32 bit) is listed but, when I click on the link, nothing happens.
How do I clear my Flash Player cache and settings?
I also found this listed at the end of the the article but I'm a bit of a technomoron so it sounds very scary to me -
"You can also manually accomplish this task by deleting the contents of the following folders:
Windows (tip: copy and paste these paths into the path bar in an Explorer window)
- %appdata%\Adobe\Flash Player
- %appdata%\Macromedia\Flash Player"
Finally, there was this - "I've also found that CCleaner can be a helpful tool for clearing cache and temporary files from a system."
If CCleaner will remove Flash caches in all browsers I'll give it a go.
