HI donnaw1940176,

Are you using Internet Explorer?  If so, check to see if it ActiveX Filtering is enabled, see ActiveX Filtering in Internet Explorer

Also, as of Windows 8 release, Microsoft embeds Flash Player in Internet Explorer (and now Edge in Win10) and all updates are released by Microsoft via Windows Update.

Hi, ooh thank you for taking the time for me, ok yes I am using internet explorer, I just went and unchecked the "active filtering thingy", I don't understand what the rest of your message means," embeds" etc, and those things, but I am this far, as to uncheck the active x, so, I just wait to see what you say, I really appreciate your help, I have a real hard time learning new things, I am grateful!

Hi donnaw1940176,

If ActiveX Filtering was enabled and you disabled it you should be able to view Flash content now. To confirm, go to https://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player.html‌ and click the Check Now button.  The widget will detect your system information, and whether or not Flash is installed/enabled.

By embedded, I mean that Microsoft includes Flash Player in Internet Explorer and there isn't a separate installer for it and there's no way to uninstall it.
