what have I done?

     Hi,

I was recently watching Daily Motion was when I was tired.  i think I accidently clicked something like "block content" but I am not sure what it was.  Now I can not watch any content (I can hear it) and I can not play a web based  game (as in won't load for me anymore).

I worked through the troubleshooting

Troubleshoot Flash Player games, video, or audio| Windows

and have clicked around where I thought I may have pressed some button but nothing has helped.

I think it is a Flash Player related issue.

Does anyone know what i have done?

Or how I can fix this issue?

Thank you for replying to my question it is much appreciated.

I was using Chrome (I should have said that) and I did check that Flash was enabled before I wrote here (I should have said that).

I took your suggestion and Alexandro and tried disabling the Adblocker, refreshing the page, but it still did not work.

Since I wrote this post, I downloaded Mozilla Firefox to see if that made a difference and it did.  The videos from Daily Motion and the game both worked.  Which is great, but I still don't know what I have done - but I am beginning to suspect it may not be a Flash Player issue but more related to some setting in Chrome that I can not find.

Like I said in my OP, I have a feeling I clicked on something around the streaming video because it was not streaming 100% well at the time (perhaps due to the bad weather we were having affecting the Wifi etc I'm not sure, doesn't matter) and I thought this might stop the buffering.  Well it solved the buffering issue because now I can't see the video

If anyone has any more thoughts, I would be interested in reading them.

Thanks again.

You can try to reset chrome to its default settings. Go into Menu->Settings->Show advanced settings - > at the very bottom "reset".

This will reset your startup page, new tab page, search engine, and pinned tabs. It will also disable all extensions and clear temporary data like cookies.

Your bookmarks, history and saved passwords will not be cleared.

thanks alexandru.  Yes that fixed it.  I noticed when i was on Firefox there was something that said something like 'block flash' and realised at the same time I got your message that it must be something to do with that.  I also noticed for whatever reason Daily Motion now wont allow u to watch without the pop up ads etc. Therefore I am assuming they may have embedded something on my computer with cookies or something i need to sort out through the Global Security Settings Panel - that causes the videos to not run without pop-ups. Not a concern for now.  Thanks again

You probably clicked a small "Block" button inserted by an Add Blocker. Are you using an Add Blocker? If so try to disable it for that page or reset its settings.

What operating system, including version, is this on?  What browser, including version, is this on?

Have you checked to see if if Flash Player is enabled in the browser? If this is IE, have you checked to see if ActiveX Filtering is disabled? See sections 3 and 4 in the help doc Installation problems | Flash Player | Windows 7 and earlier
