Adobe AIR allows you to work with device (desktop, mobile). This easy way you can watch Flash SWF content on device (eg. iPhone, iPad). AIR can connect to device resources. With AIR you can prepare apps to run on any type of device.

Adobe AIR can be independent installed on your device or be emmbeded in your App.

Flash player (plug in or standalone app) is the simplest way to watch Flash SWF content on desktop (app) or in your browser (plug in).

To watch Flash SWF content on desktop you need Flash Player. Player now is not supported on most device
