Thank you very muchy PAT,your solution worked perfectly,used the ADOBE un-installer as you said,and after that the flash player downloaded and installed no problem...thanks again...Dave

same problem...cannot download latest flash player...note comes up newer version already installed...how can it be newer than the latest version?????????????????how do I overcome this problem please,can anyone help....dave

i also have this problem using internet explorer 8 i do not have it on my computer so how can i have  the latest version
