When linking from FaceBook content, the linked audio plays but no video.

Win7 with Firefox 46.0.1 with the latest flash player re-installed several time, and went through the TS page I still can't get the linked video to play. Audio is running but the video screen is black. I also sometimes get the permission window on linked videos but I get an error message when they try to load. Also, no real player installed. Video drivers (GForce 365.19) up to date as well.

If you right click on the video, does it say About Adobe Flash Player in the context menu?

Nothing but the normal windows menu comes up when it's black screen. No Adobe menu comes up but the audio is running all the time. Just no video.

It sounds like you're running into issues with HTML5 video playback. You can try disabling hardware acceleration in the browser itself to see if that helps. (Firefox > Settings > Advanced > Use hardware acceleration when available)
