to the latest version of Flash Player.  In the Control Panel programs listing, my version shows to be 10.2,something which is not the latest version.  However, the Adobe FP site thinks (based on its display) I have the most recent version on my laptop for some reason, and willl not let me upgrade.  What needs to happen so I can get this resolve and start watching FP videos?

Hi,

Try the following:

  1. Check the version of your Flash Player again. To do this, just open the page from the following URL: http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/find-version-flash-player.html and your version details is auto displayed. You can also view the latest version details in the same page. Note down the version.
  2. Find out whether there is version conflict. Also try upgrading.
  3. If you still face issues and are unable to update your system with the latest Flash Player version, use the links provided in the same page (for install issues, trouble shooting etc.) to find a solution.

Hope the above works.

With regards,

Prabhu
