Hi,

It's about a vulnerability problem detected by "Kaspersky anti virus" of Flash players(s) in Flash CS3 editor
See pages here
http://www.securelist.com/en/advisories/40907
http://www.viruslist.com/fr/advisories/40907

And the link give for resolve this problem in this pages
http://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads.html#fp9
is not good...

And don't sure that the files V 9.0.280.0 gived in this archived page (http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/142/tn_14266.html), are compatible with Flash CS3?
Aren't the same files (not the same weigth and name) than in old V 9.0.262.0 (46 Mo) package...
V 9.0.262.0 now detected as "vulnerable".

I want the last update in V 9.0.280 (or 283?) of this Flash players(s!) for Flash pro CS3 in this page

http://www.adobe.com/support/flash/downloads.html#flashCS3

Actually on this good page and good old package, exit again only file V 9.0.262.0 (46 Mo) to 02/11/2010.

Where is the same package in last version (september 2010) V 9.0.280 (or 283?)?

THX

PS : Only this package (for Flash pro CS... editor) in more 40 Mo (and normally in "ZIP" format) is the good! package.

Not the pages with file Flash Player (for navigator) to +/- 3 Mo or other Flash player packages of +/- 20 Mo (for developpers or old system) and not containing the good files for Flash Pro CS3.

Glad you confirmed with the path and size, else it would have taken one more post to clarify

The ones you need to download are:

The first file goes into the Players\Debug directory.

The second one goes into the Players and Players\Release directory (yes, it is the same file - check the size)

Once you put the files there, remove the old ones and rename the new ones as FlashPlayer.exe

    Cheers

    Hi,

I checked the link http://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads.html#fp9 and the AX Debug, Plugin Debug, Projector Debug and Projector Non-Debug are all for 9.0.283.0 and all working fine.

Or else if I didn't quite get your query, please elaborate.

    Cheers

    thx for your answer, but

The 3 files detected by Kaspersky anti virus same "vulnerable" are:

    - ...\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Flash CS3\Players\flashplayer.exe (3345 Ko)

    - ...\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Flash CS3\Players\Debug\flashplayer.exe (3747 Ko)

    - ...\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Flash CS3\Players\Release\flashplayer.exe (3345 Ko)

So not the same names and weigth and not 4 but 3 files. than the files of this page

    http://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads.html#fp9

You are sure that I can change the name to files and replace them and will become compatible? And which of 3 on the 4?
