Which archived version of Flash Player should I install, and from where?
I'm running Windows XP with Service Pack 3. My browser is Firefox 47.1. I had Flash Player 22 NPAPI installed on my computer, and it was working fine until this morning (Friday, July 15, 2016, 9 a.m. EDT). When I opened my browser, I saw a message saying that I needed to update Flash Player in order to watch a video. I went to the Flash Player Download Center and downloaded the installer (flashplayer22_ha_install.exe). When I ran the installer, it completed the initialization, but when the installer window opened, it was blank. I tried this three times and got the same result. I then followed the steps outlined in the document "Uninstall Flash Player | Windows" and completely uninstalled Flash Player from my computer. Then I went back to the Download Center, but the same thing happened - a blank window. I then opened the document "Flash Player | Install a previous version" and clicked on "Flash Player / Archived Flash Player versions", but did not know which link to click. One list is headed "Playerglobal.swx archives - Developers only", and the other one is headed "Flash Player Archives / Release and Content Debugger archives". Neither one appeared to address my problem. Is there anyone out there who can help me?
