White screen

Question

alright so i downloaded flash and tried to make sure everything went smoothly. My only problem is I'm trying to use the open location thing option to open up a site through flash, and when i copy/paste an internet link into the URL box and hit open, it shows the address but the screen is blank. I'm using a mac and am confused on how this works.

It sounds like you downloaded the Standalone Flash Player, which probably isn't what you want. It's mostly for developers and people making kiosks.

If you're on Windows 10 and using Internet Explorer or Edge, Flash is already built-in, so there's nothing special to download. The same goes for Google Chrome on all platforms.

If you're using something use, use that browser and go here:

http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/

Follow the directions and install the Flash Player plug-in for your browser.
