I installed the latest version of adobe flash but every web page that is running flash says I need to install it.  I am running Windows 7 professional and it doesnt matter if I am using firefox, chrome, or IE.

Thanks

I have the same problem with Adobe prompting me to install Adobe Flash although I've already done it.  There are so many threads on here that address the issue but I cannot find one that solves it.  If you can help me I would greatly appreciate it.  Thanks! Jo

    I have Windows 7, 64-bit, with IE 10, 32-bit and Adobe Flash 11, 32-bit

Do you have ActiveX Filtering enabled?  If so, disable it.

Yes - ActiveX Filtering was enabled.  So I disabled it and now it works.

I wonder why finding that simple answer wasn't that simple for my simple mind?

    thanks!

Can you please post a screenshot of the message that is prompting you to update?

How do I capture and post a screenshot or video?
