Hi Shag, I gave you the instructions that you needed, but you keep starting new threads and you are missing posts and your info is scattered. Then you don't take the time to even read the threads that you have started!! No one has time to hunt for your needed information all over the forum, then you didn't bother to reply when I responded to you. You did reply once, but until you continue it served no purpose.

If you are looking for a one click fix, you'll be looking for a long time.

IE requires the Flash Player ActiveX control, most/all other browsers use the Flash Player plug-in version.  In order to have the Flash Player work with both IE and other browsers, you'll need to install both the ActiveX version and the plug-in versions.

Since it sounds like you've gotten the plug-in version working, you should be able to get IE8 working by following the link to the Flash Player installer page in that browser: http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/

    Hope that helps,

OK, in that case, I'd try the link to "Different operating system or browser?" http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/otherversions/ to download the IE ActiveX installer.
