Why does the latest update not work?

Hello everybody,
I just downloaded the latest update (14.0.0.125) as i was asked to. Before i did that youtube videos and other flash required websites loaded kinda slow already but after the update literally nothing works anymore. When i click on youtube videos the background of the video gets black as usuall and those dots who usually run in circles in the middle of the video to show that its loading appear, but the dot doesnt move. Other websites that require Flash Player like some flash games don´t work either. I´ve tried to reinstall flash player several times now, restarted my system, cleared the cache and followed nearly every step on the official "Adobe help website" (Flash Player games, video, or audio don't work | Windows) but it´s still not working. But im not recieving any error messages either..
Im using firefox on a windows 7 32-bit system.
