Question

Why does updating to flash 10.1 cause all my browsers to now crash when clicking on Hulu Video

I have upgraded to Flash 10.1 on my Windows 7 Media Player box with

Home Premium 64bit OS. When accessing Hulu via 32bit IE 8.0.7600.16385, or Mozilla Fire Fox, or Google Chrome 5.0.375.70 when I click on the video to view it it starts to resolve the video but then the entire browser freezes and I have to kill to process to get out of the browser. This occured yesterday immediately after I updated flash.

I have disabled hardware excelleration and it has done nothing to aleviate the problem.

Drivers are updated... this made no difference...

It is not just HULU but also other sites that are crashing...

A look at the HUNDREDS of posts in this forum with the same problem would lead one to believe that ADOBE should allow one to install the previous version until this gets straightened out....

Anyone have a link to 10.0????

    Thanks...

Make sure that you uninstall 10.1 before installing an earlier version.

Hi, In addition to turning off the hardware acceleration, updating your graphic and video drivers is also recommended.

I read some of the Hulu discussion board today and since I don't use that site, but they were speaking as if Hulu changed players? From the conversations some thought Hulu was having a problem. You may want to check that out.

P.S. Some were saying the Hulu Desktop was working.

    Hope updating the drivers helps.

    Thanks,
