Question

Why is 20.0.0.267 hanging?

Since updating Flash on Firefox a few days ago, I have been having a horrible hanging issue with flash based streams.  Anything requiring flash loads very slowly then proceeds to hang ever 5 to 15 seconds.

It is making flash based streams unusable.

So here I am today with this issue ongoing.  It seems like it gets better at night, possibly after peak hours of live streaming sites?  At any rate, I am having issues with other live streams as well, today being football.

If it was an issue in Flash Player itself, it just wouldn't work.

It sounds like you're running into an issue with available bandwidth, network latency or server load.  None of those are really in our, or your control.

The one thing you could try and rule out, if you haven't tried already, is to connect via an ethernet cable if you're using Wireless.  If all of your connectivity problems magically disappear, you'll want to take a look at your wireless network.

Hi,

What is the OS you are using and flash site for which this issue occurs?

Thanks

I am using Windows 7.

And looking at some other sites, it might be an issue the website I was using is having as others do seem to be working better (though not flawless).

The website was myfreecams.com

It seemed to have fixed itself last night, but it is once again hanging excessively tonight.
