Flash Player is completely installed but "Flash Player (32 bit), with icon, still appears in the Control Panel list.

How do I get rid of it please ?

If you're on Windows 8.x/10  Microsoft embeds their version of Flash Player in the brwoser. Adobe's uninstaller does not remove the embedded version, thus the Flash Player Settings Manager remains in the Control Panel.

Microsoft has released an update, https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4577586/update-for-removal-of-adobe-flash-player, to remove the IE/Edge embedded Flash Player ActiveX Control. Please read through this document carefully before doing anything.  This support page has a link to the Microsoft Update Catalog, which contains 43 different files for the different Windows versions and architecture.  Make sure you download the correct file for your Windows version and architecture.  If you experience issues with this update, please contact Microsoft as it’s their update, not Adobe’s.

What happens when you click on it?

I get the box for "Flash Player Settings Manager".

I suspect this relates to Flash in IE but it's not listed in IE add-ons.
