Why was DRM dropped in Linux version of Flash Player?

Last version of Flash Player for Linux that supports DRM was 11.2. Then support of DRM on Linux was dropped therefore Linux users can't legally watch movies. Why was it done? Do you plan to return DRM to linux version later? Please consider it.
