Question

Why won't my Facebook game load anymore?

My favorite Facebook game suddenly no longer loads, just partially, then freezes.  It's "Farm Heroes Saga". I'm on level 406.

I have Windows Vista, Chrome 46.0.2490.13 and Flash Player 19.0.0.142; I believe these are up-to-date versions.

Any ideas?  I haven't installed anything new on my computer.

Now I'm confused.  I've been able to load my game immediately as I used to!   No shield on the address bar, either.

I did not do any adjustments on my computer the last 2 days.

It looks like something got fixed somewhere by someone.

Looking at my problem again, I found yesterday that I can disable the shield in the game's address bar by clicking on "disable unsafe scripts" and the game loads and plays as before.

I'm not computer savy, but I'm guessing that my problem has nothing to do with my computer?

Is it safe to continue disabling for this game?

Thanks in advance for any responses.

    Hi,

The shield icon displayed at address bar has nothing to do with FlashPlayer. It is usually associated with few of the websites that are using HTTPS connection ,but do not have valid certificates for that. Browser treats them as potentially unsafe websites.

I don't exactly know what could be the reason, but that has nothing to do with flash player.

If you see any other problems, update this thread.

I usually use Google Chrome, but I noticed that when I use Internet Explorer (Chrome not open) and try to load "Farm Heroes Saga" game on Facebook, the screen states that "Flash Version 11.1 or higher required", so I have to close IE and start Chrome.

This is why I assumed Flash Player was the problem, because I thought it didn't load properly.  I even tried uninstalling/reinstalling Flash.

The game will load up via Chrome after I click "load unsafe scripts".

Also if you could try release build ( instead of beta use that you currently using) and share the result,it would be great.
