Hello, as a developer, I still have many things that I need to keep and run for flash for future reference. I would like to know if the flash player debugger would get blocked after 2020 even if I install it locally now. I understand that flash air might work, but I would not like to do it that way. So, would flash player debugger also get blocked?
When Flash Player reaches EOL at the end of the year, all of the major browsers are dropping their browser plug-in interfaces. You won't be able to run Flash Player in a current version of a major browser moving forward. I don't believe that the debugger will continue to work after EOL, either. You could check by setting the system date forward a couple months.
You'll either need to make a VM that has a working technology stack and freeze it in time as an archival reference, or you'll need to migrate your content to something that doesn't require Flash Player.
