will my mac os x 10.6.8 with 3.6 ghz intel core i5 run adobe after effects cs6 ?

i keep downloading the corrct flash player but i cant watch any video's containing adobe after effects cs6 .....every time i go to watch one a black screen appears and when i click the black screen it says i need the new flash player ...but like i said i already installed the new flash player !!!! i'm going around in circles ....please help
