Windows 10 is Flash Player enabled or not "NOT"

From what I have seen on this forum, several people have had this problem. What I have not seen is a clear explanation on how to resolve it.

I have Windows 10 and Flash player is part of the software. That's fine, I have enjoyed Adobe for many years and I have never needed any support. (That says a lot for their products.) Now the problem, when I use Microsoft Edge several sites have told me that my Flash Player is not "ENABLED" . When I use Internet Explorer the same site has no problem connecting. ?? When I go to your help pages I am given clear instructions on how to enable the Flash Player for WIndows 10 and Edge. After the sequence is performed and the test is rerun it still says it needs to be enabled. I have repeated this process several times with always the same results. ALL of your help directories take me to the same place with no success. I am about as frustrated as an old man needs to be! HELP!!!

    Please provide the following information:

    • Eirect link to content that does not display in Edge browser but does display in IE browser
    • Exact Windows 10 build information: Settings > System > About
      • Post a screenshot of the Edition, Version, and OS Build information
    • Launch Edge browser and navigate to http://www.whatsmyuseragent.org
      • Post a screenshot of the User Agent information (you can omit the IP Address information)
    • Launch IE browser and navigate to http://www.whatsmyuseragent.org
      • Post a screenshot of User Agent information (you can omit the IP Address information)

    To obtain a screenshot in Windows 10:

    1. in the search field type: snip
    2. from the search results click on Snipping Tool to launch the snipping tool
    3. from the main menu click on New to display the various snip options.
    4. select either Rectangular Snip or Window Snip
      1. Rectangular snip takes a screenshot of just the selected portion of the screen/window
      2. Window snip takes a screenshot of the entire appliction window that is selected
    5. Save the files as JPG files
    6. Click on the insert image icon in the forums post menu to open the insert image dialog window and follow the prompts to add the image to your post.

    Hi,

    If Flash Player is enabled and ActiveX Filtering is disabled, does Flash Player work on other pages?

    You could check http://www.adobe.com/products/flash/about​ or other sites.
