Windows 10 not updating Adobe Flash and cannot install directly anymore

I have been trying in vain for days to update Adobe Flash Player form 18 to 19, and because I have Windows 10 now, it is supposed to be automatic, but it never does when I check for updates.( I haven't had an update for about a month, and did try troubleshooting updates to see if there was  a problem, but none detected) Under services I noticed that the abode flash player update service wasn't running and when I tried to start it  I got the message" the adobe flash player update service on local computer started and then stopped" Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi wgholland,

Microsoft embeds Flash Player in IE and Edge browsers on Windows 10 and all updates for Flash Player for these 2 browsers come from Microsoft.  If you've run Windows Update to check for updates and you're not getting an update for Flash Player for IE/Edge, please contact Microsoft support (https://support.microsoft.com/‌) for assistance, or try posting your issue to their community forums (http://answers.microsoft.com/)
