Windows 10 update

I just upgraded to Windows 10, and since then I cannot watch online videos. It says I need to latest version, so when I click to download it, it says I have the latest version but need to enable shockwave or turn off Active X. When I go to enable it, it is already enable and Active X is off. What do I do now?

I'm sorry you're running into this. Flash Player detection is usually a content issue (ie. the webpage isn't detecting Flash the way it's supposed to.) Can you try going to this page to see if Flash Player is reported as enabled? In particular, once you click the Check Now button you should get a congratulations message and details on your OS. In step 5, you should see a tree animation.

Internet Explorer 11 introduces a number of changes both to how the browser identifies itself to remote web servers, and to how it processes JavaScript intended to target behaviors specific to Internet Explorer. Unfortunately, this means that content on some sites will be broken until the content provider changes their site to conform to the new development approach required by modern versions of IE.

You can try to work around these issues by using Compatibility View:

If that is too inconvenient, using Google Chrome may be a preferable alternative.

As mentioned in my original message, I have done all of those things, and it still does not work. It is definitely enabled; I have attempted to use it in multiple web browsers, and Active X is definitely off. Is there something else I can do to get this to work?
