Windows 10 update - Adobe Flash doesn't work with Facebook

Within the past 24 hours, I found that I can no longer upload photos to Facebook.  Also within that time frame, my computer automatically had a big update from Microsoft, which took several hours.  I have Windows10.  I have tried to follow the instructions, but I have no idea how to "Open the page that has the rich media content in Internet Explorer."  Even clicking on the "For example, visit Flash Player Help" link doesn't provide me with a concrete answer, only a repeat of prior instructions.  I do not use a tablet or smartphone, only my Toshiba laptop, which originally came with Windows7.

I looked at this and can reproduce it; however, I don't believe that this is a Flash Player problem.  It seems like a bug in either Facebook's code, or in Edge and IE.  As far as I can tell, Facebook is using HTML5 and JavaScript for the photo upload.  I see no evidence that Flash Player gets invoked.

I also checked Firefox and Chrome, and they work fine.  You might just use a different browser until it gets sorted out.

Microsoft disabled Flash Player by default on Windows 10, on Edge and Internet Explorer.  User's must enable it for each site they visit.

I have tried to follow the instructions,

Not sure what instructions you are referring to as you don't link to them.

For Edge, see Troubleshooting Flash Player on Microsoft Edge

For IE, see Flash Player Issues | Windows 10 | Internet Explorer

Those are the exact same "help" pages that I accessed.  I have no idea how to access the "rich media for Windows10" referred to in those instructions.

'rich media content' = Flash content you are attempting to view

Is this on Edge or IE?

What is the exact link to the site you are attempting to view Flash content on?
