Question

Windows 7 selection off by a pixel on all UI elements

The problem exists in any flash app on all browsers for me - do others see the same in windows? It exists in flash player 10 release & debug versions.

The issue appears to be that the selection area for all ui components is shifted 1 pixel to the right.

A side effect being that the left pixel-column of any button/uiComponent can not be 'mouse-overed'.

So if the cursor is 1 pixel to the right of a button for example, that button will be highlighted (wrongly).

If the cursor is on the left-most pixel column of any ui element then the element will not highlight.

e.g for a button the horizontal selection area is off by one as shown by the green rectangle (vertical selection is fine):

Any answer adobe? It's not a breaking issue unless you need pixel-perfect accuracy but it makes flash products less professional to me.

Anyone else see this in-accuracy in windows?
