Windows 8 Youtube App

I have the latest version of flashplayer installed, and Youtube will play videos in the desktop mode of IE for my PC that uses Windows 8.  It comes up with the "this video is unavailable" for all videos when I try to play them on the Windows Youtube App though.  I have tried several things to fix this but cannot figure it out yet.  Someone please help?
