Windows XP SP2 BUG FIX to install flash playe on IE explorer

Whenever I have to upgrade the flash player, I get to the install page and the little window says successfully installed. Yet no popup window appears for the latest flash player in this case 9. Popup blocker is off. And the other three solutions that adobe offers in their solution guide for SP2 don't get the flash player to install properly. So THE FIX THAT WORKS on my system is simply copy the shortcut to ADOBE's flash player uninstaller below and paste that in IE explorer, run the program and close the IE explorer window.

Flash player will uninstall. Now I just go to Adobe and reinstall the latest flash player. Problem resolved. This should help a few people fix this pain in the ass.

Thank you so much for posting this. I have been trying for the last week to figure out why I can't get FlashPlayer 9 to install and work. This solved the problem! :) Thanks!
