Question

Yahoo Toolbar

Installed the new Flash player and got Yahoo Toolbar with it. I never clicked any link that said I'd like to get that too, I never was asked if I wanted it, it just got installed as an extra.

Now, here comes the big question: How do I get rid of that (unwanted) extra installation? Clicking on change/remove in add/remove programs in Control Panel (Win XP Pro, have adm rights) doesn't get the job done. In IE I can disable the plug-in but not remove it.

I know this is no product of Adobe, but it came with your product and I don't want it.

The install page for Flahs Player has a checkbox option for whether or not
you want Yahoo. You must have not seen it and so installed with the option
turned on. Please read more carefully before you agree to download.

Yahoo is notorious for being difficult to uninstall.

here's some links (from doing a quick Google on "yahoo toolbar uninstall"
... always good to look for help before posting in forums)

This is not adobe here .. its other customers. You need to talk to their
support people (and probably pay) if you want to talk to someone at adobe.
Better .. talk to someone at Yahoo.
